On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) visited the X. Gymnasium with the aim of promoting the STEAM field, presenting the faculty, and presenting the results of the Erasmus+ project Play2Green, of which FER is the main coordinator.

In the plenary part of the meeting, students from several grades had the opportunity to learn about the opportunities that education in the STEAM field offers, as well as the programs provided by FER. The lecture was given by Associate Professor Jurica Babić. This was followed by a presentation by Ivana Slošić, an assistant from FER, who presented FER from a project perspective with an emphasis on the goals and achievements of the Play2Green project to date.

Ana Radović, an assistant from FER, presented serious games developed as part of the project: Green Siesta and HoloZoo. 

After the plenary presentations, the students participated in an interactive workshop in which they had the opportunity to play the Green Siesta game. Through the game, they were educated about sustainable waste management, and at the same time had fun.
