Marina Pticek is a research associate at the Department of Telecommunications of the Faculty Electrical Engineering and Computing of the University of Zagreb, on the project “Managing Trust and Coordinating Interactions in Smart Networks of People, Machines and Organizations”. She also enrolled in the doctoral study programme at the same institution. She is the member of the “Social Networking and Computing Laboratory (socialLAB)” and has also taken part on the project “M2M Communication Challenges (M2MCC)”.
Her teaching and research activities are in the field of Machine-to-Machine profiling and networking, which have the goal to analyze possibilities of machine profiling with the purpose of creating a smart network of machines and coordinating interactions among them. She is a teaching assistant on B.Sc. courses Communication Networks and Public Mobile Network.
She is a member of IEEE, as well as the IEEE Zagreb student branch and IEEE WIE organization.
